 SulphCo Receives Second Patent From U.S. Patent Office RENO, Nev., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SulphCo, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SLPH) announced today that SulphCo's second U.S. patent (no. 6,500,219) was issued on December 31, 2002. Dr. Rudolf W. Gunnerman, listed as the inventor, has assigned the patent to SulphCo. SulphCo currently has one other issued U.S. patent (no. 6,402,939 B1). That patent was issued on June 11, 2002 and assigned to SulphCo by Dr. Teh Fu Yen of the University of Southern California. Additionally, SulphCo has two Notices of Allowance from the U.S. Patent Office and several patents pending.
