 SulphCo Receives Third Patent From U.S. Patent Office SulphCo, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SLPH) announced today that SulphCo’s third U.S. patent (no. 6,652,992) was issued on November 25, 2003. Dr. Rudolf W. Gunnerman, listed as the inventor, has assigned the patent to SulphCo. SulphCo currently has two other issued U.S. patents. The first patent (no. 6,402,939) was issued on June 11, 2002 and assigned to SulphCo by Dr. Teh Fu Yen of the University of Southern California. The second patent (no. 6,500,219) was issued to Dr. Gunnerman on December 31, 2002 and assigned to SulphCo. Additionally, SulphCo has two other patents pending. SulphCo’s third U.S. patent, and other currently pending patent applications cover SulphCo’s manufacture of its own high power ultrasound equipment to be used in SulphCo’s desulfurization units.
