SPARKS, Nev., May 11, 2005 – SulphCo, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SLPH) has signed an agreement with Märkisches Werk GmbH (MWH) of Germany for the manufacture of critical Sonocracking™ ultrasound unit components.

SulphCo has developed the patented Sonocracking™ high-powered ultrasound process to upgrade sour heavy crude oils into sweeter lighter crudes. The agreement specifies that MWH will manufacture the probe assemblies and reactors for SulphCo’s Sonocracking™ units, as well as provide technical design and development assistance. SulphCo’s ultrasound process increases the distillate yield while at the same time reducing sulfur and nitrogen content, producing more usable oil per barrel of crude.

With operations worldwide and locations in Germany, the U.S. and South Korea, MWH is a manufacturer of industrial components and systems, including combustion engines and nuclear, aircraft and hydraulic systems. MWH is also a large OEM valve supplier.
