 SulphCo Contracts For Manufacture Of Sonocracking™ Processing Equipment
SPARKS, Nev., Dec. 20, 2005 – SulphCo, Inc. (AMEX: SUF) announced that it has entered into an agreement with NTG GmbH (“NTG”) of Gelnhausen, Germany to manufacture seven 30,000 bbl/day fully automated, stainless steel Sonocracking™ units pursuant to SulphCo’s design and specifications. The reactors to be included in the units are being manufactured by Märkisches Werk GmbH. The agreement calls for NTG to manufacture and assemble the units and have them ready for containerized shipment to SulphCo’s joint venture partner Fujairah Oil Technology, LLC (“FOT”) in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates on or about April 15, 2006.
FOT will have constructed a protective steel building with foundations, piping and utilities ready for installation of the Sonocracking™ units upon their arrival in Fujairah. The building will be built to have the capacity to potentially house Sonocracking™ units capable of processing up to 500,000 bbl/day of medium or heavy crude oil.
