SulphCo Hires European Programs Director SPARKS, Nev., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SulphCo(R), Inc. SUF announced today that it has hired Dr. Spencer Taylor as its European Programs Director. Prior to his employment with SulphCo, Dr. Taylor spent 21 years with British Petroleum as a research scientist and project manager at British Petroleum's Sunbury-on-Thames facility in the United Kingdom. Dr. Taylor's activities focused on crude oil production, refining and refinery products. Since his retirement from British Petroleum in 2004, Dr. Taylor has founded and worked for his own consulting company and holds a visiting readership position at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
As European Programs Director for SulphCo, Dr. Taylor's main responsibilities will be to oversee SulphCo's current European customer projects, including the recently announced Cooperation Agreement with OMV in Austria, as well as interfacing with SulphCo's European-based engineering and equipment suppliers. Dr. Taylor will also evaluate how SulphCo can best benefit from its expanding customer and manufacturing base in Europe.

Dr. Taylor received his PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Surrey in the UK and held postdoctoral positions at Queens University in Ontario, Canada and the University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom. He has authored approximately 60 papers in refereed journals and is a named inventor or co-inventor on approximately 20 patents. Dr. Taylor is a citizen of, and currently resides in the United Kingdom.
