RENO, Nev., September 13, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- SulphCo, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SLPH), announced today that it will soon be receiving a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) for a key component of its desulfurization technology. A Notice of Allowance has been received from the PTO stating that SulphCo’s patent for the ultrasound-assisted desulfurization of fossil fuels in presence of dialkyl ethers is ready to issue. This adds to SulphCo’s already existing United States portfolio of four issued patents.
